Walk two blocks to the Townsville Civic Theatre on Boundary Street for the evening program of short dance works priced at $35. Finish at the Museum of Tropical Queensland on Flinders Street Mall, which added a 45-minute audio tour of its maritime wing this month.

Entry to the museum costs $18 for adults and $12 for concession, with the last timed ticket released at 3.30 pm. The Civic Theatre box office opens at 10 am daily and accepts cash only on Fridays. The trail map is available as a printed card at any of the three venues or downloaded from the City of Townsville website; it lists the two free shuttle stops on The Strand that run every 20 minutes until 8 pm.
